Pilot Digital Marketing is a boutique digital agency hiring a PPC Manager with intermediate to advanced experience and skills. We are looking to hire a local resident to join the team in our Chicago office. This position will be remote until we are all able to safely return to the office.

About the Position
We’re looking for an entry-level Paid Search Specialist/Analyst. This position is available in our Chicago office. This position will be remote until we are all able to safely return to the office. Working 100% remotely (not in Chicago) is not an option.
The PPC Specialist/Analyst is responsible for administering and managing Pay-Per-Click media strategies for clients. As a member of the PPC Team, the role will focus on various campaigns and client projects with the goal of maximizing the ROI of paid online advertising initiatives using Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Shopping Feeds, and Social Platforms through multiple analytical, strategic, and creative techniques.
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily management and optimization of PPC programs on Google AdWords, Shopping feeds, Bing Ads, Facebook, and more.
- Developing paid strategy for clients in regards to what type of campaigns each client should be running, making budget recommendations, and providing projections based on recommended budgets.
- Communicating with clients on their campaigns, including reporting, project status, and fine tuning goals.
- Building out campaigns for clients across the different platforms mentioned above. Campaign build-outs include tasks such as:
- Account set up/linking on any of the above mentioned platforms
- Keyword and negative keyword research
- Ad copy writing
- Budget and bid setting
- Directing designers on any creative needed for display/remarketing ads
- Call tracking setup
- Analytics goal-tracking setup
- Monitoring client budgets and ROI for each client account to ensure success of ppc campaigns
- Optimizing client accounts based on desired CPA for each account
Requirements:
This is an entry-level position, and we will train and continue to help the new employee grow and become an advanced PPC Account Manager/Analyst. We are looking for someone who has the interest and aptitude to learn all of the below skills—or can already perform some or all of them:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms such as Google Ads, Bing/Yahoo, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
- Experience with WordStream is a huge plus.
- Experience with Google Analytics. (Analytics certification a huge plus)
- Proficiency in Excel and Google GSuite.
- AdWords / Bing certification(s) a plus.
- Strong commitment to client-service and exceeding customer goals
- Excellent communications skills
- Solid problem solving skills, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic web development and design a plus
